I knew from the start it was going to be a very fun photo session with Lisa and her 7 year old German Shepherd, Chelsea. Lisa absolutely loves her dog and it shows in every photo. And all the kisses were equally returned from Chelsea. She’s such a kind and friendly dog. What made some of the photos extra special is Chelsea’s curiosity. She’s so interested in everything happening around her and with every sound she hears. Chelsea’s a super smart dog. Lisa and Chelsea were so much fun to work with and I loved capturing the love they have for one another. They clearly share a very special bond and it warms my heart.
We started the photo session at the University of Guelph and had planned on going to the Arboretum, too. We changed that plan about half way through the session. With what seemed like hundreds of mosquitoes swarming us around the buildings on campus we would not have survived the Arboretum. Luckily, Chelsea wasn’t bothered by the mosquitoes at all. Her beautiful thick fur kept her protected and she was as happy as can be.
