I was very fortunate to meet and photograph this special girl. Roxy is an eight-and-a-half-year-old Tri-coloured Beagle and she loves her three cat siblings. She’s not too fond of other dogs though, so we found a nice secluded spot in Oshawa that was perfect to do the shoot. I knew it was going to be a fun shoot as soon as I met her. She’s a real star! I call her Roxy, the model.
It was known when we did Roxy’s photo session that she was going in for serious surgery the following week. She had cancer in her front right leg and her leg had to be amputated. Her surgery was already a week ago and she’s recuperating very well. Her owner and best friend, Jeff, told us that she’s already moving around and getting back to her old self. Luckily Roxy is in amazing hands. Jeff loves her very much…and her cat siblings love her, too! We really look forward to seeing her again. Get well soon, Roxy!
